In 2009, C3 Applications began looking at the available web based virtual emergency operations center marketplace and discovered that there were two areas where improvements could be made.

     The first was pricing. We discovered that there was not an option for a virtual EOC application that would fit the budget of most jurisdictions with smaller populations.

     The second was redundancy. We just don't feel that having to pay thousands of dollars to host a server at your facility is a viable option. We have been in disaster situations where neither the EOC nor the governmental server farm survived the disaster.

     For these reasons, ICSolution was developed. The ICSolution system is a web based virtual EOC incident management system that requires no add-ins to work with your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome). If your EOC position requires that you need to have your system available, whether the internet is available or not, users can purchase our optional "Independent Client" feature that installs on your desktop, laptop, or netbook computer.

     The "Independent Client" synchronizes with our hosting server on a schedule that is determined by you. If you lose your internet connection or do not have access to an internet connection, with a couple of mouse clicks, you are working in a browser with all of your data available. You can add, delete and modify records as needed. Then, when the internet becomes available again. All of your additions, deletions, and modifications are synchronized with the server. Your data is always available!

     We are also including one copy of depiction® simulation and mapping software with ICSolution. We feel our application works so well with depiction® that every organization needs a collaborative GIS capability as well.

     The best advantage is that you can get all of this for much less than $10,000. This puts a viable, redundant solution within the reach of every jurisdiction.
