When you make the decision to have C3 Applications produce your exercise, we work to perform all of the "heavy lifting" that is required to develop a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) compliant activity. We first take the time to talk with you to decide the type, size and scope of your exercise. We have produced exercises ranging from the tabletop level to full scale exercises. Next we discuss what Exercise Evaluation Guidelines (EEG) that you would like to utilize in order to assess your exercise activities.
From there we work with you to develop a budget and assist in preparing any required documentation needed to apply for grant funding if necessary. Once funding is secured, we contract with you to begin the development of your exercise.
By employing our unique position as a software development company, we work to create a unique exercise experience for you by developing the following:
- An ICSolution Incident Management System site for your jurisdiction
- An ICSolution Exercise Feed site for the injects that we develop
- Development of an ICSolution Inject/EEG Generator for our staff to use during inject development
- An exercise workshop with your agencies to determine their unique evaluation criteria for the exercise
- Development of a written Exercise Plan (ExPlan) and obtaining approval by your agency
- Development of custom videos, mulage or other props as required in your exercise
- Development of the Exercise Evaluation Guide
- Training for your staff on ICSolution
- Leading, documenting and evaluation of the actual exercise
- Performing an exercise HOTWASH
- Development of an After Action Report (AAR)
- Meeting with the agencies that participated in your exercise to review and accept the AAR
In the end, your responsibilities are to obtain funding, get your agencies participation in the exercise, and cater an exercise meal for them (if required). We take care of everything else.
